Console 2.0 Is Here

Console 2.0 Is Here

We've been heads down for six months. Here's what we built.

Today, Console 2.0 is available in public beta — and it's not an update. It's a complete rebuild of the platform, written from scratch, designed to grow with your team for years to come.

I'm Noe, and I lead Console. I want to tell you the honest story of why we rebuilt it, what's better, and what's still on the way.

Why We Rebuilt It From the Ground Up

The original Console was built on Bubble, a no-code platform. At the time, it was the right call — it let us move fast and get real tooling into the hands of refrigeration teams quickly. But over time, we kept running into the same wall: there were things we needed to build, improvements we needed to make, and Bubble simply wouldn't let us do them the way they needed to be done.

We hit a ceiling. And when you hit a ceiling in software, you have two choices: find workarounds, or build something better.

We chose to build something better.

Over the past six months, we rewrote Console entirely in Laravel — a production-grade framework used by serious software teams across the world. No shortcuts. No no-code layer between our team and the product. Just a real, solid foundation.

What's Better in 2.0

The improvements aren't cosmetic. They're structural — and you'll feel them.

Significantly faster performance. The entire platform is more responsive. Navigating between facilities, assets, and tasks is noticeably quicker. When you're managing maintenance operations across a facility, speed isn't a luxury — it matters.

A real mobile experience. Console 2.0 is built cross-platform — web, iOS, and Android. The mobile experience has been rethought from the ground up. For technicians working on the floor, in the engine room, or across multiple sites, this is a meaningful difference.

A more reliable system. We built infrastructure with resilience in mind — including server-level safeguards designed to keep the platform available even if issues arise. More stable software means fewer interruptions to your maintenance workflows.

A foundation we can actually build on. This is the one that matters most to us as a team. Every feature request, every improvement, every new capability you need — we can now move faster and ship safer than we ever could before. That changes everything about what Console can become.

What's Not in 2.0 Yet

We want to be straight with you: this is a public beta, and two things from the legacy platform haven't made it into 2.0 yet.

File previews are not available in 2.0 at this time.

The form builder has room to grow — we know the legacy version had functionality that some teams rely on, and we're actively working to match and improve it.

Both are on our roadmap. We'll ship them.

Legacy Mode Is Still There

Here's what this means in practice: you don't have to switch everything overnight.

Legacy Console remains fully available. If your team is in the middle of an audit cycle, running an active PSM program, or just wants to take their time before fully transitioning — you can do that. Legacy mode is there as a safety net, not a pressure tactic.

And if you find something missing or a rough edge in 2.0 that's blocking you, we want to know. The faster you tell us, the faster we fix it.

We're Just Getting Started

The first version of Console got real maintenance and compliance tooling into refrigeration facilities. That mattered. But we always knew we needed a better foundation to build the product that this industry actually deserves.

Console 2.0 is that foundation. This is the real beginning.

Try Console 2.0 today and tell us what you think. Your feedback right now — during the beta — is the most valuable thing you can give us.
